A grieving widow is desperate for answers after her husband was crushed to death in a freak accident on the set of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
The sixth film in the hit Hollywood franchise, which stars Milla Jovovich, was filmed earlier this year in South Africa, including in Belhar.
Shafiefa Cornelius’ whole world was shattered two weeks ago when her husband of only nine months, Ricardo Cornelius, was in a fatal accident at work.
The 34-year-old Mitchells Plain man had been a crew member on the set for five weeks, after being unemployed for a year.
He died on December 3 after he was crushed by one of the props, a US army issue Hummer, that apparently fell on top of him.
Heartbroken Shafiefa says: “We already bought his Christmas clothes and shoes. I buried him in his Christmas clothes.”
What the actual fuck is going on with this movie, first a stunt double got in a serious accident which resulted in her arm being amputated...and now someone gets crushed to death ??
Serious cutting of corners in terms of safety department.
it's most likely there adding over the top action scenes that where never in the fucking video game.
it's a movie series so shitty it can kill you
Though sad that the crew-member died on the set, But fuck it has to suck to die while filming a shitty movie.
What the fuck.

How.
How does this fucking happen.
It's like some outsourced deregulated manufacturing for movies, not only does the output suck but so does working to create that output. It's sad, really.

It actually was just her thumb...but that also doesn't cover the fucking mountain of other injuries she sustained.
During filming, Jovovich's stunt double Olivia Jackson was severely injured when her motorcycle collided with a camera crane, leaving her in a medically-induced coma for two weeks. Among Jackson's injuries were cerebral trauma, a crushed face, a severed artery in her neck, a paralyzed arm, several broken ribs, a shattered scapula, a broken clavicle, torn fingers with a thumb that needed to be amputated, and five nerves torn out of her spinal cord.
E: Turns out she actually does need her arm amputated. Holy fuck.
Jesus Christ - please re-read my last post with the biggest emphasis you can put on the word "sad". It's not worth it.
When masturbatory fantasy franchises about your wife go wrong.

Her arm was left paralyzed, that's why its getting amputated.
“No one can tell me what happened, I need closure. His colleagues who I spoke to blocked me on WhatsApp.
“None of the bosses have even contacted me to tell me what happened.
Dood probably got killed because of someones negligence or because of shitty safety standards on set.

Yeah, I just edited that. Christ, what a fucking mess.
Really trying too hard to film it and milk it asap. Hence the accidents.
I really hope this will be an actual last RE movie.
with this fuck it most likely will,.
the RE movie series is probably the worst series of movies I've watched in my life
they aren't "bad good", they're just "Really only awful"
hell, I even appreciate the room for what it is, a bad movie that's fun to watch. RE is just... BAD.
the fact that they are clearly making this movie on a shoestring budget in regards to safety shows me that this movie it's bad, and for no reasons that are good.
the first four where kinda of fun ( for 2 being the best ) but the 5th was god awful
the first four where kinda of fun ( for 2 being the best ) but the 5th was god awful
So just like the games then?
Actually up until like Nemesis they were alright but after that shit just started to get progressively stupid. I think what finally did it for me was the game where they were in Africa or some shit and yeah I just stopped paying attention to the story and eventually stopped playing.

4 was really good but in a complete different way from the previous games

Oh there's an emoticon specifically for this reply
:what:
the directors wife is the lead of the movies
coincidentally both are terrible at their jobs but somehow still manage to get the funding for it

Probably they're getting good rebate from filming in South Africa and also stuff like this is easy to sell on the smaller film markets.

The director is married to the lead actress, her character is pretty much all solo action scenes and the occasional nude scene.
Jesus christ that's horrible. Also reminds me of those two guys that died in a explosion during the production of one of the Expendables movies.
I'd feel fucking bad if this was a scene that was meant to be a jill sandwich joke. Dying for acting out a joke scene that probably could have been skipped.
Theres gonna be another movie?
Ugh...
But ontopic, how was that shit even allowed to happen? Goddamnit people, safety! It's not hard!
Wesker was behind this I bet.
This isn't the only accident on this set, another stun woman crashed into a camera/camera rail and she had to get her arm amputated, broke several bones and had to get her face reconstructed due to her face being shattered.
