I just wanted to get new strings for a guitar, but was offered 100 dollars for it, even though its broken and needs new strings. From what I can find its worth a max of 75 dollars in good condition.
I have no knowledge of guitars so I come to you musical geniuses.
How much is my guitar worth? Its a giannini awn 31 and its fairly old.
I googled your guitar, and a 1972 giannini awn 31 sold at an auction for $40 USD. Also, a lack of strings is NOT really considered into the guitar price because of how easy restringing is. If you really don't want your guitar anymore it's a good deal, but if you still like it or want to keep playing it, I'd keep it, but just know that $100 is probably more than you'll be offered otherwise.

Okay thanks for the information, but the thing that makes it even more suspicious, is that he called me back about 3 more times, and raised his offer to 250, making him really desperate to buy it, even more than before.
He said he would call me back again, to negotiate a price.

That was a broken guitar that was sold for 40$... Usually guitars in the state aren't even sold in the first place. It's hard to tell how much it's worth since there's not much info about them.

I found one off from some italian site, for about 530 dollars but idk if that is just some crazy price someone threw on.
If it helps, its made in brazil, and is at least 20 years old.
