Sup guys, i was thinking for the past weeks of upgrading from my entry level DSLR, maybe to a Pro level..idk yet. I have a Canon rebel xti. It's pretty old. It's my first camera too. lol I'm looking for something that can record. Maybe a t3i or should i just wait and buy more lenses for my xti, then upgrade.
I wouldn't consider the t3i a professional level camera. I am not a Canon person, but if you are not unhappy with your camera the best thing to do is invest in lenses. Lenses make a huge difference in your photography.
If you feel you want or need to upgrade, the t3i isn't a bad camera, I know several people who have one and are happy with it.
Try a 50D or 60D.
Really looking for something that can shoot atleast 720p video. Getting more into making short films. But i'm with you on the lenses idea. Lenses are a better investment, a new cropped sensor camera won't improve your pictures past low-noise performance.
