I've been rolling once a week for about two months as I'd rather take these instead of drinking - is there anything I should know about?
Kills braincells
Its neurotoxic and you should probably have a break
drink and take ecstasy
drink and take ecstasy
And take xanax and chain smoke weed
hmmm
I know that when mdma is already in your brain, and you take more, or any other drug that released copiuous amounts of dopamine (heroin, speed, etc.) the reaction between mdma and dopamine will create Hydrogen Peroxide, which bleaches things. I don't think you want to bleach your brain.

If you take the right vitamins beforehand is the neurotoxicity still a problem?
Yes, vitamins will only help with specific acute deficiencies after rolling, or maybe dopamine precursors like tyrosine could help with the come down. Edit: i posted this when high so it's probably all wrong.
X can lower your seriton levels( one of the things that make you happy). What x Does is release a whole lot. This can lead to depression. That's the main problem with x.
since i have started to take mdma every month or so (longer) I have felt a tad bit more insane than i was before. Like before i was level and now i'm a little bit insane. Is pretty fun mind you. If i took it that often i'd probably loose my mind
Ok so im just gonna drop this here. I have been doing MDMA for about 4 months about a gram a week. I already feel my brain dying. I cant spell like i used to. I mumble all the time. I lose my train of thought randomly. Like i could be talking to someone about work and just stop mid sentence and be like "Dude what was i saying" I know that that happens to people some time but this is like all the time. So just be careful. Do as i say not as i do.
It's generally recommended to space your rolls out by at LEAST two weeks (preferably more, 3-4 even) to allow your body to recover, filter out the chemical and replenish serotonin and other hormones, as well as to avoid permanent brain damage (holes and such caused by the neurotoxicity as well as the bleaching that bluesky was talking about). When taken in moderation ecstasy is quite safe, but if you do it once a week for months you are inevitably going to lose brain cells and damage yourself. Probably even worse if you're just doing party pills instead of molly, since who the fuck knows what that shit is cut with.
I agree. I havent been using pills . Ive been getting some nice big crystals from my guys. I still dont know if it might be cut with something but i think its pretty good. Better than the stuff i did have that was cut with like speed or some shit. But yeah i really do need to chill out. But its about the only drug i enjoy.

Looked into it a bit but there's not much you can do apart from just not taking it for a while. Thing is, i smoke alot of bud and i've read that doesn't help at all either. You'll kill serotonin receptors permanently as the influx of dopamine and serotonin causes serotonin receptors to 'take up' (ie. ingest) the dopamine incorrectly. This causes permanent damage to the serotonin receptors, but can be offset by keeping hydrated and keeping a normal body temperature. This fits into neurotoxicity, and heat-related damage comes under excitoxicity. Also, contrary to popular belief, serotonin doesn't make you 'happy', but it will keep your moods more tempered. People with low serotonin will often have very volatile moods, but not necessarily depressive episodes -- you can be quite happy with low serotonin, but there's little chance that you'll sustain it, and are likely to succumb to depression if something bad happens, however minor it may be. As others in this thread have suggested, try keeping a minimum of two weeks between rolls. I have suffered many of the side effects discussed here from taking mephedrone a lot, so these things are not really specific to MDMA. All of the symptoms I have suffered from long-term use dissipate from abstinence, so I wouldn't worry yourselves too much. I've read a study indicating that smoking weed on the comedown reduces the severity of neurotoxicity, but you might want to look it up.

I feel quite down and alone during the week but then when the weekend comes I go out and do it again. Will this midweek blues pass if I stop going on 3 day benders?
Yea man, quit that shit, you're going to end up fucking with your head.
Ok man thanks for the reply, I've been feeling really bad about myself recently haha. I know it's due to Drone but it's hard to go out and not do it with all my friends who are frequent users. Sometimes I just feel like bursting into tears, as gay as it sounds I get this about once a day.

I just seem to over analyse everything at the moment and it's getting me really down. You a drone user yourself?

If your mates do it switch to Mandy or something in the mean time

I know that everything is real but I seem to be having conflicting thoughts all the time. Will this pass? I'm really worried.

Also it will pass, just don't fucking do anymore lol If possible, maybe smoke some weed until you get through this, it should help relax you, if that's the effect it has on you anyway, everyone's different.
Well, after reading this thread, I haven't taken any last weekend, and won't this weekend, but I seriously think I have some sort of mental addiction to it.
