Tweak Bird is a two man band composed of guitarist, Caleb, and drummer, Ashton.
They are a relatively new band, having just released their first self titled LP.
Its hard for me to describe their sound, but I would say they are...
Deep fuzzy guitar riffs+awesome drumming+psychedelic theramin intros+catchy vocals about space travel.
I got to see them play last week and they were amazing. They are touring the U.S right now, definitely check them out if they come near you.
So give them a listen.

I saw them when they opened for Tool; they were a bit boring musically.
They seemed really stage-shy for that big of a venue, and like looked away from the crowd the whole time. It was also really muddy, not clean at all, which probably wasn't their fault.
Either way, even though their music is simple/repetitive, they played cleanly.
Yeah, well maybe thats why they opened for Tool seeing as how their guitarist hides at the back of the stage in the shadows the whole time.
When I saw Tweak Bird they were very tight musically. You should check out their new album though, it has more variety to it. A couple of their songs have a sax and a flute in it.
They're kind of repetitive. I want to like them, but I just don't think this is something I would listen to
Yeah. I didn't want to bash them, but they aren't that good in my opinion.
It's good to see someone doing something different, but I guess it just doesn't really appeal to me. They have potential.
I don't see how people can bash bands for being repetitive.
Lots of bands have repetition in their music, its what makes it catchy.
I think its just that they have a very distinct sound that they don't vary much from.
I mean... AC/DC is one of the most popular rock bands ever, but pretty much all their songs sounds the same..
I gotta check this out, it sounds really cool

How's Reservations?
Reservations is good. Not as polished as their newest, but still very rockin.

Lots of music theory and instrumental analysis. Ruins repetitive simple shit, and makes pop music impossible to listen to.
I didn't say they were bad, I said I don't like them.
That was one of the best music videos I've seen

Music theory is all fine and good. Changing time signatures and doing all that fancy shit.
But sometimes you just gotta jam.
And if a riff is fucking tasty, why not play ten times in a row?
Sometimes simple is better... but I do agree that bands with more musical talent are fun to listen to.
Also, I am glad some of you guys are digging it.
The music is good if it had a soul, if that makes sense. Also a few more members (bassist, 2nd guitarist) won't do them any harm.
