I'm surprised, maybe the increasingly nervous man might be right for once? I'm still skeptical if this will really dent his supporter-base.
So this is how the Party of Lincoln dies. Not with a bang, but with a MAGA.
I'm half expecting Pence to be swapped as the party head but since the ballots are out I don't even think thats possible
I want off Mr Trumps wild ride

last reminder that you don't actually have to vote for him or for clinton

I'm still voting for him, I just don't think he will win now
I'm still voting for him, I just don't think he will win now
W H Y
At this point why even try to dissuade him, it's as much a thrown vote as one for Gary Johnson.
Cool, if Trump is destroyed before the election, then I won't have to throw away my dignity voting for Hillary just in case the election is super close and comes down to a single vote.
I'm still voting for him, I just don't think he will win now
vote for whoever you fucking want, jesus christ. don't vote for donald because you don't want hillary to win, especially if you agree he's bad (which iirc you have in the other thread, though unfortunately i don't know the whole story.) vote independent, vote for the candidates you think fit your standards the most, there's literally thousands of them. and don't give me that bullshit "throw your vote away" argument, thousands if not millions of people died for your fucking right to vote for whoever you want.
i'd be okay with you if you voted for donald because you truly supported him, because while i disagree with you i can't argue your right to vote. but i refuse to give you the support if you vote for him because "the other side sucks." cmon.

It won't die until the Libertarians or another third party seriously start competing with them for votes.
So it will be more of a whimper, ultimately.

Trump is a horrible person...
BUT I'm still voting for him!
I'm really curious how this era is going to look in future history books.

i said it in another thread, but its relevant again -- possibly even more so

I really don't understand how that compares.

bernie voters refused to see the writing on the wall and voted for him religiously, some even to the point that they'll write his name in on the ballot next month.
trump supporters wont have to write his name in, but they're just as blind to the reality of the situation.

There was no reason not to vote for him in the primaries. Granted there are people who are going to write in his name and throw away their votes, but that's not an issue specifically with supporting Sanders.

You want to offer a reason why?

no, but it's the reputation his vote base earned. specifically as "fanatical to the end, even in the face of overwhelming evidence". this is the same thing the trump votebase is going through as well. which is especially humorous to me because of all the shit flinging that happened online in trump vs sanders debates. the irony of the situation is palpable, and i havent seen a single trump supporter self aware enough to realize it.

Wait, so people should stop supporting their candidate if they are losing? Bernie supporters kept pushing for him till the end, now a majority are voting Hillary. So Trump supporters according to you should just vote Hillary cause she looks more likely to win?
And this isn't exactly new, losing candidates are always going to have supporters who don't want to give up. The fact you're trying to throw a little mud at them just makes you condescending.

He's not entirely wrong. I worked in a Bernie Sanders campaign and I was the only one there who understood that he was probably going to lose. Practically everyone there was acting like a cult. It worsened when he didn't win.

Posts like these make me wish we still had the "Dumb" rating in SH. Sanders supporters overwhelmingly supported him until the end of the primaries and then switched to Clinton. It's insulting to compare people passionate about a genuine candidate to Trump voters who fail to recognize the hundreds of massive flaws their candidate has.

The future of America is the worlds future, thats not arrogance, thats just how it is now.

i never said stop anyone should stop supporting their candidate. i said they should learn to see when they're losing. i haven't seen a single trump supporter willing to budge on even discussing the possibility of their candidate losing. which is exactly the same thing i saw in sanders supporters, btw i i voted for him in my local caucus.
im throwing mud at them, not for not giving up, but for being unwilling to face reality. if you're ignoring reality because its too yucky for you, then just ignore the mud im throwing too.

Some people have already cast their votes, it's way too late now
His campaign's falling apart in spectacular fashion.
