Judging by the look so far at the mechanics, it looks good.
I wonder if the combat will be more than just pressing buttons for an affect. More like Mass Effect as opposed to Star Trek Online.

Some Information a While ago said You'll get to play as Orks, Chaos, Imperium and Eldar. Of course what you actually play as is still subject. So Far we do know Space Marine (obviously)

You can't really do that in an MMO. The cartoony-ness (as you call it) comes from the fact the game won't be running only on the highest of high end systems. A point of an MMO is to run on a very wide variety of systems, so that way they can pretty much sell it to everyone
