I've been going by the alias of downshift, but I've took a 4 month break from releasing songs to improve my sound. Now that I've taken a break, and I have a remix being submitted, it's time for a new artist name that I will keep possibly forever. My current name is downshift, here's my [URL="http://soundcloud.com/theofficialdownshift"]soundcloud[/URL], only look at the newest ones, the rest are old. So my question is, can you guys help me with a new name?

I disagree with that, surely it would be better to change a name [i]before[/i] he has thousands of followers, less people to confuse. If this name change is permanent, it's definitely a good time to start again.
Depends what sort of music you want to make, but I like Downshift. Although looking at last.fm there's already 3 bands/artists called Downshift.
