CSGO feels a lot more balanced than CS/CSS so you might actually get into playing CSGO. But if you just want to play modded game modes then just stick to the older games.

Evil Genius is £3.50, highly recommend if you grab the unofficial fan patch or similar.

Not for your first time through no. Mostly because you'll savor it a lot more without the distractions of a friend. But once you beat it at least once, go for it.

If it gets a daily deal and becomes 67% off, its "normal price" will suddenly jump to $30 for that one day only.
I'm not sure whether to buy a few small things, wait until the winter sale, or wait for steam cards as gifts and [I]then[/I] use them during the sale.
