Okay, so I absolutely loved Star Trek and Stargate, they are both cancelled for good now and I need something to watch while I work on my 2nd monitor.
List of stuff I've watched completely :
Stargate (all spinoffs)
Star Trek (all spinoffs)
A Town called Eureka
Defying Gravity
Doctor Who
Terra Prime
Battlestar Galactica
Firefly
Torchwood
Blakes 7
I just need something new and good to watch, I don't fancy re watching TNG... again.

One of the best sci-fi shows I've ever seen. The "science" part gets quite hokum, but it's just entertaining. The show starts off slowly, but by the end of season one, it's excellent.
Fringe is pretty good.
It starts off as an X-Files ripoff but develops into a well written show with an interesting plot and good characters.
Obligatory Firefly.
And yes, Fringe is an incredible show, specially from Season 2 and onwards.
Warehouse 13 is a pretty good show. If i remember correctly, some of the episodes have references and one even takes place in Eureka.
I didn't see Babylon 5 on your list, the fifth season and the spinoffs arn't so great, but if you enjoy the dialog (I've heard it's too talkative for some), the old cgi, and get past the somewhat dry season 1 (the pilot can put people off) then I hope you have a blast with it. On a side note there was controversy between deep space 9 and babylon 5 so you might find strong parallels between them.

I don't know how I could have forgotten about Farscape, it was so damned awesome.

Sounds interesting, I will give the first season a go.
Babylon 5 is incredible.
The first half of S5 is really awful but it gets so so much better.
And I can't recommend Farscape enough.
It's fucking bizarre, hilarious, depressing, and action packed.
Probably one of my favorite scifi shows ever next to Babylon 5.
And definitely check out Fringe as well, starts off very X-Files but it gets much better by the middle of S2.
There's also Lost, while it isn't strictly scifi and the writing is completely fucking bonkers, it's an entertaining ride all the way through that'll keep you guessing even after the damn show is over.
You've also got shows like Odyssey 5 which has a pretty cool premise... astronauts witness Earth's destruction and they get sent back 5 years into the past to prevent whatever caused it to happened... it was unfortunately like all great shows, cancelled after one season and ended on a standard season finale that left the show wide open.
And there's Andromeda which is a bit similar to Star Trek DS9 and TNG in that follows a crew that's on diplomatic mission to restore order to the galaxy after being frozen in time for a few hundred years, but it was a little too episodic for my taste after the second season.
Oh and there's Space: Above and Beyond which is literally Band of Brothers in the future... and it also only lasted for one fucking season because fuck good scifi shows.

Anybody who sees this thread and hasn't seen Farscape, immediately drop what you're doing and go check out a few seasons from the library or something.

oh yeah and don't forget about Red Dwarf.
The X-Files.
Andromeda is a pretty good show to watch, I just watched through it again, I would say the first season of it is the best but it does have an over arching story that affects the episodes which makes it pretty entertaining.
I think the reason I got into it was because the intro was just so catchy.

Oh It's called Andromeda, I've always called it Hercules in space
Andromeda's last season was painful to watch.
Obligatory
Doctor Who.
besides what's already been recommended, how do you feel about animated shows? There's so much good sci-fi anime. Mobile Suit Gundam is to Japan what Star Trek and Doctor Who were to western society

If it's not over the top and "Kawaai!!! Desu" I can put up with it.
dude, Lost
Andromeda used to be on just before I had to go to school, it was the only thing watchable at that hour, which isn't saying much.
It reminds me of that spoof movie or whatever you want to call it with Tim Allen, it's the most generic sci-fi show ever. Was somewhat entertaining though.

Galaxy Quest, it also had Alan Rickman in it. I loved that movie.

Its acctualy one of my favorite sci-fi movies only because it takes the piss out of almost every single Sci-fi series(mostly Star trek TOS).
Outcasts series one was pretty awesome in my opinion.

Ghost in the shell: stand alone complex, evangelion (does have it's kawai moments), and serial experiments lain. (I've yet to sit down and watch ego proxy)
Though you might have your time taken up for a few months with B5.
