It was a horrible weekend for many people in parts of the Midwest who are the victims of devastating tornadoes that destroyed homes and property… but not this guy’s spankin’ new PS4.
Someone from the Washington, IL, area just east of Peoria, posted the above photo to Reddit earlier today, claiming that amid all the destruction brought down upon his home (yes, that is a sink hanging from the wall behind him), the PS4 came out untouched.
The poster also took the opportunity provided by all the attention given to this photo today to urge people who want to help to consider donating to the Red Cross relief effort, donate blood, and maybe look into taking in animals left homeless by the storms.
And we’ll take this opportunity to remind you of two things related to post-tragedy scams.
For people in storm-ravaged areas, there will be home repair scams, usually in the form of walk-up “contractors,” who go door-to-door in the aftermath of hurricanes, tornadoes and the like, offering their services — often at a discount, and often faster than the time frame you’d get by calling a legitimate contractor.
Some of these door-knockers will actually attempt a repair, though it will be likely be shoddy and done with substandard materials. More often, the person will just take your “deposit” and then never materialize.
Ehh at least the PS4 survived!
confirmed, PS4 is tornado proof
I bet if we make a house out of PS4's. The Midwest would be the safest place to be.
And sleek looking too.

maybe they stole some Nintendonium
Can an Xbone survive a tornado? I think not.

Until you connected it to the power grid, then it would attempt to update and brick itself.
I just learned that if the storms had started half an hour later, these tornadoes would have been practically directly above me. We had damaging winds but no tornadoes.
I guess he's a glass half full kind of guy. He still needs to buy a new TV for starters..
PS4 confirmed to be made by Jesus Christ.

Compared to the PS4 and Wii U it's huge.

I think they outsource to Asia not Latin America

And compared to the Wii U it is way more powerful, but it really loses against the PS4. Hopefully they come out with a slim version that actually makes it smaller, and maybe a price drop.

Yeah probably not. In fact I really don't see what that has to do with anything.

Shame all of his games were blown away.
EDIT: Sorry, I forgot. It's a PS4.

Wouldn't them being bricks make them even better to build a house out of

Compare it to the PS4 that doesn't have a big ass power brick, I mean really why can't Microsoft get that shit inside like Sony?

Who can be such a piece of shit that they would do this after such a tragic storm? That's below human scum.
Sony should donate a bunch to disaster relief and include a PS4 in each aid package
