Decided to upload my second attempt at making a hyper lapse video. I took over 5,000 photos over the course of three trips in order to finish this this one. It's taking up around 300 GB on my hard drive in photos and video.
oh god oh god i so want to go to disneyland now, at least there's some christmas atmosphere there

Make sure to go before they close down Fantasmic for a year and get rid of a bunch of stuff in preparation for Star Wars Land. Not too much Christmas stuff this year due to the Diamond Celebration.
A7s II, shoulda known. Looked fantastic, really great work on it. I really love doing timelapes, but haven't moved into hyperlapse stuff yet. Really makes me want to visit there.

I'll be trying with my A7RII as well. I just went with the A7SII since it gives slightly better performance at high ISO levels and the files are smaller. Though the A7RII looks pretty good at high ISO levels and the high megapixel count seems to make higher ISO noise come out really fine. So, I will see what that does for me on my next attempt.
That is amazing! So fun to watch! Makes me wonder how you manged to take photos in those crowds! Disney looks amazing!

Just needed some patience and find natural barrier and rails so I wouldn't be in peoples way. At least as much as humanly possible.
It was great, and also bummed me out a little bit simply because it made me wish I was there with my family. :(
I'm sharing this on Facebook though!
As a Michigander, I can't help but awkwardly laugh at all the people in coats. Do people in California really think that 59-60 degrees is coat weather?

Like some of these coats look so heavy I wouldn't wear them until it was a good 30 degrees colder.
As someone who lives in Vegas, absolutely. I'm used to 90+ degree weather and don't panic when it hits 110. I go outside in a heavy coat and still feel too cold. Can't take the cold, yet I want to move ASAP.
That girl is secretly me or at least copying me.

Haha, yeah. We're pretty terrible when it comes to weather. Though in our defense, we do have to deal with temperatures as high as 114 degrees during the summer and within the course of like a week, our nights can drop into the 40's. Add the water fronts in Disneyland and you get some pretty chilly temperatures that we just don't have time to adjust to before it becomes 114 degrees again.
There's this girl in full snow gear. People around here don't wear full snow gear until it's at least 80 degrees colder (yes, that does happen) than it was in this video.
I noticed her! It was 46 degrees the nights when I recorded those, but I was fine with a light jacket and a scarf because its the only time I have an excuse to wear one and attempt to look somewhat fashionable.
Wow, these hyperlapse videos are nice, man. I'd love to see one of an urban setting, if you ever got the chance. Pogo is a really awesome and fitting choice, too.

I'm planning on doing some more stuff within my city, but need to reshoot everything since it was shot on a 12 megapixel camera and I want to produce my videos in 8k from now on using my 42 megapixel camera.

Damn, you must have some serious storage to be working at that size.

I do, but I honestly think I might need to buy some new hard drives for storage because the idea of 8k is exciting and frightening.

I actually just moved to Orange County, California from New York and let me tell you. When I first got here and experienced Winter, everybody was crying about 50 degrees and I would get angry because they don't understand true winter. Now this winter, I'm complaining that I don't have enough blankets and it's too cold.
Haha wow it's almost like people from different climates have different bodily responses to cold weather!!
