well, I remember in my 6th grade science class, there was this girl, who, whenever our teacher wasn't blabbering about her crazy stories, would draw in her notebook. my friend lucas sat right behind her, so he took a peek once, and later at lunch break he said, "dude, that girl has some weird shit in her notebook. theres some floating teeth and walking buffalos, I dunno." I responded with "sounds creepy." next day he tells me she outlined some of the stuff with dark red glue, similarly to blood. we also noticed she would wear a necklace with a circled upsidedown star.
why am I saying this? well, she often butterflied (stole from) people's lockers, and one day something really weird happened. she and her friend said the would in a class with a (thankfully it was a bb) pistol. nothing much after that. later I heard the girl got expelled, but her friend only was suspended. I heard some kid used himself as a human shield. he got 3 pellets in his arm and shoulder.

LaVey Satanism is basically that, yes. LaVey Satanists generally don't actually believe in God or Satan, but rather simply use Satan as a symbol for human fulfilment and such and such.
