I wonder how long it took to render this
I wonder how long it took to render this
Days, at least
You guys should watch "the pixar story" Disney had zero hope for Pixar back in the day. And how much Steve Jobs had to do with its success.
Wow, I got to hand it to them.

Look how far we've come with 3d animation.
In 1972, we had 3D models with better animations than some games today... lol.
Did the part where they moved the fingers around remind anyone else of the finger poser in Gmod? Wow this is impressive for 1972 seeing as the first 3D games came decades later.
Music and atmosphere reminds me of Fallout.
impressive, considering computers in 1972 were made of wood and internal composts were gears, sparks, and glass tube amps.
What gets me is that they drew the polygons onto the hand. That's cool
Better than Gmod's hand animation.
I have a DVD with all the short films Pixar has made over the years. It's pretty cool to see the progress that they've been through. Though the baby in "Tin Toy" is terrifying.
definitely pixar's best work

These days you never see any music, just these over-hyped shitty 'reality' TV shows.

Awesome stuff I can barely do faces today and the technology these days is really use friendly And to think, just a little more than 20 years later they made a feature length film
Watch, hmm nice music. Pause video, music continues. Oh there must be a ad behind here, close party poker ad, music continues. :pwn:
