Forgive my slowness, but it has only just come to mind that Disney has bought out Lucasfilm Inc. for the hefty sum of $4 Billion. Of course, this means sequels, prequels, sh*tty animated TV shows and the like.
But surely a sequel would be impossible, surely? I mean, it's canon that there are no Sith left, and no Jedi, save Luke Skywalker. So we can conclude they have to make a prequel.
What of the actors, etc? Will we have Jim Carrey starring as the Emperor? Morgan Freeman as Yoda? I don't even know.
There will, of course, be many more Disney Rides, Merchandise, and....[I]Isn't Leia technically a Disney Princess?[/I]
So, what will become of the beloved franchise? Will it be for the better or for the worse?
