Apparently bitcasa had an update that deleted all accounts that hadn`t updated to the latest version. Couldn`t even log in to the forums anymore. I had about 1T uploaded on that cloud. Some files were ONLY on that cloud. Do anyone have any more information on this subject? Did i just loose 2 years of work? I didn`t recieve any warnings about this update either...

What is the most reliable way to store your data? HDD, SSD, CDs, SD Cards, Floppy disks?

Always assume that the worst is going to happen, because it's just a matter of time until it does. [QUOTE=SteenRNS;46554615]Well that sucks... Preferably, not connected to anything, in case of malware that tries to delete/encrypt in. And you want a copy stored offsite in case of fire, theft or act of nature, which is where the cloud comes in.

And you'll want that to not burn/get ruined by flooding/etc.
You should have used Advanced Duplicator

if it was that bad I'd threaten legal action
