Mods if this is to many meetup threads just lock it please. Hello, after looking into some threads there seem to be alot of FP'ers in Texas. I was thinking we should meetup at some point, Austin is the part of Texas with alot of stuff to do and a middle point of Texas. We can meet anywhere downtown a house Starbucks so we can surf FP insted of talking. I would like a headcount first, so tell me who will attend. Also I would like to figure this out in summer so when can meet then.
I like these kinds of threads. But more information and organization would be nice.

Texas is just so big, It's going to be around 160 miles for anyone near Houston to get to Austin. That's about a 3 hour drive.

I drive 1 hour to get to school each day. That's 2 hours 5 days a week. But I do see your point Texas is huge.
I say Dallas, I would go then because that's where I live. It also seems like a lot of FP'ers live there.

For you guys wondering, I might be hosting it. It'll be a barbecue / LAN party. I dunno if my parents are completely consent with me inviting over strangers from some forum like Facepunch, but I'll see, if my damn charcoal smoker ships in.
I wouldn't mind, but I can't really spare the time to go over to Austin. If a meetup ever happen in Houston though, i'm game.
