Magpie's are wee bastards. I saw a pair scrapping with each other across the street from me. They were fluttering about each other on a neighbour's house, then they went down to the street and started pecking each other. Then three others were sitting on the roof of the house watching what was going on. After a while they decided to get stuck in themselves. They're like the hoodies of the bird world.
I have these fuckers screaming outside every morning along with seagulls and some crows. I saw a cat climbing up to their nest once but there were crows pulling its tail and ears from left and right. Every time i see them pick on cats the cats just get submissive. It's weird how they don't attack back because they could probably easily kill them..
The reason they always seem like dicks is because they make their nests close to where there's food, so they usually end up being close people since we leave a lot of garbage around. They pick on pretty much anything alive that's too close to their nest.
Why does this use operation moonbase music?

Why the hell not?
I also had no idea magpies could "talk"

Magpies can be vicious. Saw a couple of 'em ripping apart this dead pheasant.
Tiny raptors, I tell you.
Aren't magpies one of the smartest animals on the planet? One of the few that passed the mirror test or whatever

I think I remember they're roughly as smart as apes.
They can recognize themselves, learn to make new tools, and hold/attend funerals.

Mimicry is a ability of most corvids. I am reminded of one raven at a bird park that got jealous of all the attention a parrot was getting with people trying to get it to talk. The raven starting talking itself. That got it's coveted attention!
I've had these little guys pecking at my window some mornings trying to wake me up. My parents have had them do that as well. Apparently it's a common thing. They're very curious birds.
I wonder if any studies have been done as to why they're so curious. Though, I honestly wouldn't mind one as a pet.
Magpies are now my new favorite animal
fucking magpies, one of them mugged me and took all my money.

Probably learned it from the people right before it slaughtered them.

A cat doesn't really stand much of a chance against a large crow/magpie. They're quick and their pecks will hurt like hell.
Glorious bird overlords.

I can't find the one where a crow talks with a voice of a radio-host who drank too much last night.

Nevermind I found it. It keeps saying "Jaska" which is a finnish name.
