"Are you going to leave now?" the pistol-wielding Lucero asked tech Clifton Ratliff, according to the complaint, posted online by the tech site Ars Technica. Lucero was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was released later on, $10,000 bond, the Albuquerque Journal reported. Authorities said the incident started when Ratliff arrived at Lucero's northeast Albuquerque house to fix her cable and told her she'd had to sign off on charges for the work. Lucero said she thought the work was free and called a Comcast customer service line, where a rep told her she'd have to pay, police said. She refused, so Ratliff left. While he was loading his tools into his car, Lucero came outside, snatched one of his toolbags and brought it back inside her home, Ratliff told police. When he went to get it back, Lucero and another woman told him to scram, Ratliff told police. Lucero then came out with a black handgun and pointed it at his torso, saying, "You need to get off my property right now." Ratliff said he put his hands up and replied, "I am leaving." It's a shame that the people who bare the brunt of pissed off people in industries like this are never the ones who deserve it. Someone should probably shoot these old CEOs in their faces. As someone who works tech support, I will say this: Do not yell at customer service reps or tech support reps over the phone. It makes us hate you and care less about your stupid problems and I'll probably put you on hold for like ten minutes for lols for no reason since you can't control yourself.
