I'm pretty sure it's real. Why do you guys think this is funny? I read about this technology being developed a year ago in a popular science magazine.

I heard about this about a year ago also. I'm hoping this is real, It sounds too good to be true, and well a bit too ridiculous to be true. I mean using a modified HIV virus to cure cancer??

They're not [I]exactly[/I] using the HIV virus. They're using a genetically engineered version of it that won't cause sickness like the normal HIV virus would. It's programmed to use T-Cells to attack cancer cells, to put it short.
How much money is made off of people with cancer? In a country where health care is a commodity in the free market, I have my doubts that we'll ever see this in actual use here

You wont hear about it for a while because they have to put these things through rigorous testing before it can be approved. This testing takes several years.
