Customs Are Crap - General - Facepunch Forum

So the other day I purchased a very nice looking pipe intended for use with weed, long story short the Australian customs seized it deeming it was an "ice pipe" intended for use with "methylamphetamine". I'm wondering if anyone else has had trouble getting things shipped to their house?

Lol did they spell it like that? Because that's not meth lol.

So like what happened? Did you get an angry letter "stop importing durgs }:(" and no charges or anything? Would that have happened if it was heroin?

I ended up on Border Security Australia, Channel 7 after they found 0.5grams(in the plastic wrapper I might add) in my backpack :( Foolish mistake on my part but nothing bad happened, the Feds that interviewed me pointed me in the way of Nimbin... Why don't you just go to a headshop? Or keep trying, they can't get every package.

After the interview with the Federal Police they told me the cameras would be waiting for me at the exit and that they could slip me out the back, but I thought fuck it. I was like... [B]wtf!?![/B] So I guess they could, but at the end (after i'd been arrested and let go) they asked me to sign something so I did. I think it works like CCTV in some ways, and the bit of paper I signed let them show my face on TV. But a friend said he had seen it on TV in the UK and my face was blurred out so I'm not sure if that means they can only show my face on Australian TV? Only thing I regret is I'd only just got to Aussieland so I was still pale as fuck :(

The guy was happy to change the channel and turn it up. I cringed at seeing myself in HD lol. I will add that they caught me off guard, I didn't know I had it at all, my flight went from London to Dubai then on to Brisbane.. My bag got searched in Dubai too and they didn't find shit? So being searched and them actually finding something really stumped me and after 24hours+ of travel and shit sleep It was like i was a cookie in front of a toddler, just waiting to crumble.

It wouldn't have been being featured on Tv and nothing else, that's for sure.
