Namco Bandai and From Software has confirmed the development of Dark Souls II In this game we have a new hero in a new world that face the same question: how in the world do I survive this? Hidetaka Miyazaki, who created the Soul series, will oversee the project and development is led by Tomohiro Shibuya. Dark Souls 2 is in development for PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows. A trailer was shown during the Spike Video Game Awards and you can see the part where the trailer is included here. You can also see a picture below that should give hope that From Software understands exactly what fans want ..
http://www.gametrailers.com/full-episodes/rsonhm/video-game-awards-2012-vga-2012--part-4---character-of-the-year--dark-souls-ii http://loading.se/news.php?pub_id=22608&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=facebook
Oh hell yes. I am excited.
So this time the PC version is developed alongside the consoles. Cool, let's hope it's not as much a port as the previous one was.
I keep hearing rumors that they're going to make it "more accessible." I really hope that doesn't mean what most of the internet thinks it means.

That's now one of the key pillars we consider when we develop games in the future.
http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/10815.html
Maybe it means including an instruction manual that's more than 3 pages long so you don't have to use the wiki to see that a certain symbol means "slash damage" or whatever

My body is ready
I still need to play the first Dark Souls. :(
Praise the sun!
This pleases me.
This is interesting. Dark souls on PC was very fun, though I hope they improve(add) some sort of anti-cheat system. I've met far too many god invaders.
Funny, I just bought Dark Souls yesterday [editline]8th December 2012[/editline] for the ps3
Can't wait to see how much different the PVP is. The PVP in dark souls has too many little things about it that are bullshit, but I think the concept has a ton of potential.
I heard the pc version is kind of fucked. Are the controls bad (Optimization/smoothness wise I mean, with a g13/g600 I don't have to worry about over complicated controls) Is mouse movement as wonky as Assassins creed 2's PC version? It was playable but off.
It's very recommended to use a controller for the game. Playing with a mouse and keyboard is not the easiest task.
With the mouse fix it's kinda possible, I got rather far with m&k but a controller is much easier for obvious reasons.

I can't believe how many people missed that.
No there were things in the game that the game never ever tells you. One example is that 2Hing gives you 1.5x more STR (and I still don't know if this applies to bows like it did in DeS). Another thing is that when your character gets grabbed and you can't control your character whether by Gaping Dragon, the slimes in the Depths, or the Iron Golem, by rapidly pressing buttons you can reduce the damage you take. [editline]a[/editline] There are lots of things that could be more straightforward and better explained.
