The Ship was a really cool concept, but kinda impractical. Too specific to attract a large enough playerbase, make pubs fun and keep people interested long enough.
playing on 32 man elimination servers was pretty fun, I'd like to see that again.

I mean, if TTT was able to get popular as just a gmod gamemode why cant this game and it's concept get popular? Both concepts are somewhat similar too. And to be honest, in a way, i think a TTT-esque gamemode would fit the ship as well.
Honestly, I don't think it needed an HD remake since due to its art style still looks great. An engine upgrade is most certainly welcome, though. That lighting looks great.
The Ship was actually great fun with some friends, if this gets more players on then awesome.

That lighting looks great.[/QUOTE] It needed a full rewrite because of some licensing shit where the devs no longer have the rights to modify the Source engine so they can't make major changes to the game or update it from the 2006 version of Source The Ship HD is built on Unity
It was a ton of fun but people stopped playing it and when it had a short revival, it was full of people who didn't know how to play it
This is probably going to be the best E3 in a looong time, in terms of quantity of quality games.
