I'm fucking paranoid about this kinda stuff. I absolutely never complain about food, especially at fast food. I'd rather pay for it again than risk whatever kind of retribution they would decide to serve up.

If you complain that your soup is too cold and they take it back, they'll normally just heat up the spoon and give the soup back to you without doing anything to it.

How do you even know this is in America?
I work at Tim Hortons, in Canada. I never do anything to anyones food. Fuck, I get complaints for not wearing gloves even though they just stood there staring at me the whole time I washed my hands and made their sandwhich. Don't know what kind of place could get away with spitting in drinks.
Also, America's food and sanitary regulations are fucking horrible compared to most developed countries.
