Might be late but I think it's worth been seen again since it's an amasing short movie, and I'm pretty sure there's alot of people that haven't seen it according to the movie's view count. Please enjoy!
Well, that that was awesome.
I'd love to know how long it took to make and render it all.
That was incredibly well done and sad.
met the guy that made this last year at the Annecy Animation festival. He's cool. Really knows his shit too. He worked pretty much solo.

It looks way fucking better than borderlands.

So inspiring to see stuff like this especially when it's done solo.
I wouldn't call it a side project. I just graduated in animation, and I directed a team of 3 (with about 10 additional secondary crew) and it took us about 18 months to make a 5 minute animated short. That was for at least 10 hours a day every single day... I was compositing on Christmas day haha. Only 1 month off in summer. This shit takes a LONG time. It takes Pixar about 4 years to make a film, and that's with a crew of hundreds. You need to write the script, do the concept art, create storyboards, create an animatic, revise the animatic shitloads, design the environments, design the props, the characters, model all of those assets, texture them, light them, animate everything, create your effects, render everything, composite them, edit it, add in the sound design, the music... so much work goes into these, which nobody ever really thinks about. Watched it 9 Times this day... It's so awesome...
