It's great how some Americans can seamlessly make 50 different words sound like just one.
I do this all the time at local gigs where I am from. It is even easier with metal bands. Peoples ability to elaborate on spontaneous fiction still astounds me.
Why would you lie about something like that? I'd happily go to a festival and admit I don't know who the fuck half the people playing are.

This honestly seems fake. It's like the interviewer's voice was dubbed in for all of them. None of the people being interviewed mentioned the name of the fake bands they were asked about either.
