I've had this problem for a couple of years, especially since the start of Year 10. (Fuck you I'm British)
My friends have noticed this quite recently, I always look stoned or really tired, sometimes I'm not tired one bit. Most of the time I am tired, but it's really weird.
Like uh, for example; my friend got about 4 hours sleep every day for 2 weeks, he doesn't look one bit tired or feel like going to sleep. Same with about ten other people. I get about 7-ish hours of sleep (12:00 AM to 7AM mostly), and I just consider this as a way that my brain wants more sleep.
So I need more sleep. That must be the answer.
All I'm missing is, what? 3 hours of needed sleep?
Okay. Alright, 10 hours of sleep.
I go to bed for 10 hours.
No difference?
What.
I still feel tired, I still look tired, I just look like I've had an extremely rough day. What the fuck? How the hell do I stop looking so tired all the time? If I didn't wear my glasses everyone would point out I'm always tired. I fucking yawn all the time as well :argh:
Just what the fuck do I do?
[Unaware if this is the right section :saddowns:]
Yup, you're tired.
No need to thank me for this detailed diagnosis
But seriously, have you tried to see what would happen if you get a few additional hours of sleep on a continuous period?
I have the same. Always tired, and yawn all the time.
don't help even if I sleep the recommended time.
You're probably eating shitty foods and not getting any exercise, there are a number of vitamin/mineral deficiencies that result in being tired, lightheaded etc...
I personally have an iron deficiency, which has caused anemia, so my skin is very pale, my blood is bright bright red, and I get dizzy/lightheaded easily
exercise and eat healthy
are you sitting around all day and eating junk food/drinking soda
So do I and I've looked like this for the past two years. Is there really a problem? It's how you look like, you're going to have to deal with it.
You're probably over/undersleeping, you don't get enough exercise enough, you don't eat well, you spend to much time indoors and you spend too much time sitting in front of computers.
Not saying you actually do any of the above, but if you do, that's the reason.
Run 5 miles, go to sleep, wake up replenished.
Nobody is going to be able to tell with your shitty descriptions, go to a fucking doctor if you think there is something wrong with you don't post it in a forum, jesus christ people like you piss me off.
Go for 12 hours, see if it helps, or just deal with it. Some people are just always tired during school due to the hours, or maybe you're still not getting enough sleep for your body. Everyone's different.
Personally I'd just suck it up and deal with being tired, then live on 4-6 hours sleep.

Basically this.
Maybe you're anemic? Anemia is due to a low amount of red blood cells and can cause fatigue and alter your appearance.

Low white blood cell count possibly get it checked out, if you still feel this way after a month of decent rest and healthy eating.
Maybe it's because you're staring at screens all day.

basically what I do now.
I even exercise reguraly, and I don't eat shit food that often.
You're British, see a doctor.
Quit drinking caffeine, cut back sugar.
It's called depression which usually spawns from anxiety and stress but can also be caused by many medical issues as well.
A person your age does not need more than 8 hours of sleep per day. If you vary your sleep too often by getting 10 hours one day, 7 hours another, and 5 hours another or even 5 on the week and 12 on the weekend, you will feel very tired and your brain will suffer from it in both the long and short term.
If you are getting consistent sleep around 7-8 hours, then you may have low/high blood sugar or you may be very stressed. These are most likely, but you should do some thinking about the possible causes yourself taking the ones I mentioned into consideration.
You don't catch up on sleep after a night of sleep. It can take a while for the body to recover.
Your diet can also play a part in this.
You may not be getting a good night sleep, seeing a doctor if you are worried about it can turn up better answers.
I have the same problem OP, I have some mild semblance of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Link for maximum aid and intelligent diagnosis:

It is slowly dissipating however, and it is not as difficult working day to day so much so as it was during previous months.
Oversleeping causes you to be tired, try to cut it down to 6 or 7 hours of sleep
I kinda feel like that when I haven't eaten for most of the day. You'd think I'd be hungry but hunger is absent and I just get really really tired.

It can be 1 symptom of depression, that doesn't make it depression.
Kyle, you need to get some exercise. Take some vitamins daily.
Exercising helps me when I feel tired.

He only mentioned tiredness, he may have other symptoms that he hasn't mentioned or maybe hasn't noticed.
If he gets consistent sleep of at least 7 hours (doesn't matter if its 10 hours, its not oversleep if its consistent throughout the week), then he is likely suffering from something other than his sleep schedule. Think outside the box here, I don't the OP was looking for "Change your sleep habits" responses.
hit the gym, you'll be amazed how much better you feel
Drink more water, make sure you get enough iron and that you get enough vitamines.
do you smoke weed?
if so, then it could be that, if not...
diet, exercise, etc.
