It’s not my place to decide whether an investigation is just, but the government has the legal authority to force you to do things you’re uncomfortable with,” said Levison in a phone call on Friday. “The fact that I can’t talk about this is as big a problem as what they asked me to do.” Levison’s lawyer, Jesse Binnall, who is based in Northern Virginia — the court district where Levison needed representation — added that it’s “ridiculous” that Levison has to so carefully parse what he says about the government inquiry. “In America, we’re not supposed to have to worry about watching our words like this when we’re talking to the press,” Binnall said.
Seriously, what the fuck is this shit. If he speaks he will probably be hunted like Snowden, am I correct? Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

Does this mean he'll return to regular mail, or will he be a gimmick and log into gmail in a week?
Gosh darn it, i bet the NSA did this!
Does this mean he'll return to regular mail, or will he be a gimmick and log into gmail in a week?
Carrier pigeons.
How's that "free speech" thing coming along, US?
Carrier pigeons.
Pigeons are tasty if prepared properly before grilling. Sometimes they even come with notes attached to them, just like a fortune cookie with wings.
Too bad 90% of my interaction is either through my own private teamspeak, or irl interaction :v:
Does this mean he'll return to regular mail, or will he be a gimmick and log into gmail in a week?
Theres more secure ways to communicate online that isn't an email protocol.
my own private teamspeak
Because that's encrypted with 100% unbreakable ciphers, right? (Hint: They have straight up data taps on the net. If they want to pay attention to you, they can.)

I'm sure they don't give a fuck about you right now. But there's a reason that the fourth amendment is supposed to apply even if you don't have anything to hide.
How's that "free speech" thing coming along, US?
at least they're not tying us up drugging us and throwing us out of planes, argentina

this guy sounds like a stallman at this point so i don't really trust what he says unless he gives us any reason to trust it
lol it was U.S backed. tryhard
us backed an anticommunist rebel group and their initial grab to power, yeah. the major period where most died during the dirty war was after carter cut off aid to the country [editline]10th August 2013[/editline] JUST SAYIN
What about Hushmail? Also why are people just now figuring out that Email is insecure? At the bottom of every email ever it says "Note: Email should NOT be considered a secure or confidential means of communication. This should be taken into account when communicating by email," like some sort of Cassandra truth. It reminds me of those people who see "Never tell your password to anyone," at the top of every chatbox ever, and then they get surprised when their account gets hijacked because they gave some asshole their password. I know it's not right for them to be spying on us, but at the same time we shouldn't be surprised when we already knew all the warnings.
The government are in for a surprise when they find out how much porn I email myself.
It'll be like when people post on your profile page asking about the source for the porn in your avatar.
