This is days after the surprising 4-3 victory by the U.S. against the Netherlands. I'm not sure what's up with the US doing well.
Wow didn't watch the game because I was sure we would lose (also needed a break because the women's world cup has been consuming all my free time but still.) Seriously though how are we beating these good teams all of a sudden?

I think it's silly to simply put it down to other teams playing poorly lately.
The fact is that Jurgen Klinsmann has made a number of great changes in the US team.

I'm not kidding, we ARE playing shit. We're nowhere near how well we played during the world championship. You guys played well, no doubt about that, but we were far from top form.
It was hardly a strong German team, really. Maybe 3 of the starting 11 were regular internationals
It's a friendly match, obviously the Europeans are more friendly than Americans :v:
