Now that we've unveiled the Vive Pre at CES, who is excited to see what Valve is unveiling at their content showcase?

Happening?
I'm 95% sure it's going to be just more stuff for Vive and how it can do more X than others.
If it's a new game/half life, I will be pleasantly surprised.
They should have outright stated "This isn't a Half Life entry" if it wasn't, Valve is going to have a lot of upset people if it's a port of Portal or a new L4D

HTC is solely responsible for announcements related to hardware and features.
will not be Half life 3... However I'm excited if it is an new IP.
A Portal spin-off title would be a great demo/showcase for room-scale VR. Turn your room into an interactive test-chamber.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if it WAS hl3, valve really wants VR to take off and releasing the new half life game with it would be a surefire way to do that.

No. Stop expecting anything from Valve until they actually announce something.
richochet 2 bois
Well. HTC is basically saying they have nothing else to show, so it's up to Valve now.
I mean I'm keeping my cool, I'm not gonna get exc:excited:
Left 4 dead 3
it's probably just gonna be another tech demo lol. but of course people are still gonna expect the most and then collectively fly into a rage come the 28th anyways.
Valve is holding the event and they're going to show stuff from other devs.
Is how I'm taking this.
Not getting my hopes up.
Well, maybe they'll show the Dota VR spectator that has been talked before and that's it.
Day of Defeat: Allied Offensive
Wouldn't mind it if they did a tech demo with L4D assets, so we can see that flashy Source 2 version of the plantation.
Pretty sure it's some L4D3 demo

This is literally what it is, Valve is showcasing some cool 3rd party launch titles, although I'm sure they'll be announcing a Valve title as well. It's like a 0.0% of being HL3 though, they've been pretty clear about Half Life and VR. Portal seems unlikely because of motion sickness.. Valve has to announce SOMETHING, I just wonder if it will be a new IP. I sure hope so.
It's going to be L4D or a portal type game
As much as I want it to be HL3 it won't and this will officially make me give up on valve as a game producer
I doubt it's L4D, I don't know how you could possibly make that work for VR.
Portal remastered oh boy.

ricochet retooled could probably work really well with the vive, you've only got a little platform to walk around on anyways and you use the launch pads to grt around. could throw the frisbees of death around and dodge shit, seems like it would be really fun
more of this maybe?

lol, can you imagine if Ricochet 2 not only was real, but it turned out to be one of the best VR games available? It honestly does sound cool, jumping around your room dodging discs and throwing them at bad guys..

Not a Valve title.
The entire purpose of this VR showcase is to show off experiences and games for the HTC Vive's launch, not demos. Previously unseen titles.
Valve is showing off something as well as the other developers, and a total of 10 games/experiences have been confirmed.
