it has the same cold war setting (well red dragon goes to '91) but it doesn't really play similarly at all

It has way more units and it's way more authentic.
I was hoping that the trailer would've shown ship combat.
Eh. The last two wargame games I've bought, I've played for a good while then got utterly tired of.
We'll see about this one.
I hadn't read much on W:RD, so I didn't even know naval was added, even if it was the logical step after W:ALB.
Call me hyped.
