I have had my all-glass weed pipe for a while now and I let my friend borrow it (I know, not smart but he gave me 30$ for one week and I know he will take good care of it). I want to completely clean it and I've heard rubbing alcohol Is the best solution, I was curious if there are any negitive health effects of the alcohol. I figured since it's not a good idea to drink it I shouldn't soak my pipe in it. But it's apparently the most popular method when combined with salt and put in a baggy for a an hour.
Anyway, some reassurance would be awesome guys.

You don't let it sit there for an hour. You shake it up, and then you take it out and DRY IT. The alcohol would dilute the THC in the weed to, IIRC.
There will be no negative health effects if you let it dry off before you use it again.
Rice and bleach.
Swirl it around a lot.

Use some Pipe cleaner, ask the plumber.

this has to be a joke. Of course it isn't going to hurt you, people use rubbing alcohol for all kinds of things, specially medical stuff. The alcohol is the least of your worries if your smoking pot.
Just soak it for a while and let it dry, then you'll be fine. If you're worried about that just soak it, then soak it in regular warm water to rinse it off and let it dry.
if you have alcohol (absolute), use that. it'll evaporate away.
OP, best thing you can do is pour some of that alcohol on a rag and press it under your nose for as long as possible.

Rubbing alcohol would just burn off if it hasn't evaporated.
Bathe it in warm water.
scrape whatever resin you can off so you can smoke it, then soak it in rubbing alcohol and scrub it a little to clean whatever's left.

Scrape the resin out and keep it. It tastes like shit but if you don't have weed you can smoke that.

I use a mixture of rubbing alcohol and salt, then just rinse it out with water.
Rubbing alcohol and salt (salt is the abrasive). Glass is non porous and will not absorb any alcohol. It is completely safe and effective.
If you're willing to spend the money, you can use what's called Grunge Off. It is literally the best piece cleaner. It can take weeks of grime off in a few minutes just soaking in it, but it's 15 bucks a bottle (reusable too).
