Please post if you learned your 1st song b4 you went to school to learn how to play guitar, and try to post a video of the song :3:
Does this have to be on guitar or can it be any instrument?
First song I learned to play in its entirety was Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd. Someone posted one of those "Guize I need easy songs on guitar help me plz" and it was one of the only songs mentioned in that thread that I liked.
I would love to say my first accomplished song was Vicarious by Tool but... well, I never could play it from start to finish. So I guess that means St. Anger by Metallica was my first accomplished song.
"Say It Ain't So" by Weezer on expert drums with Rock Band 100%.
Windir - Arntor Ein Windir, first song I actually learned without tabs.
Jingle Bells on Guitar and Trumpet.
Bass Guitar; YYZ - Rush
From the moment I heard it, I wanted to play it so damned bad.
Tom Sawyer on guitar.
I was so proud of meself :P
Tom Sawyer on guitar.

Rush is so fun to play. :buddy:
Amazing Grace on Bagpipes.
My favourite to play was Wearing of the Green.
Song of Joy (aka Beethoven's 9th) with my old nylon string classical. Such a basic version of the song but I can remember finding it immensely difficult :v:
I think it was

What? My first song was Aerials by System of a Down.
It was probably Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits.
Though it has been so long now since I learned it so I don't remember how to play it (:
Foxy lady - Jimi Hendrix.

A Walk in the Woods - Halo:CE soundtrack - on piano.

I still can't believe that every Halo buff I've met can't remember this song.
The music was the best / most original part of the series... :sigh:
Working on Guitar now, don't know exactly WHAT I'm working on.
And I had a teacher for piano and guitar.
Hmm... Gee, a lot to choose from. What do you mean by this? Do you mean the first ever song you learned, e.g. from a book, or the first song you ever set out to play yourself? 'Cos I don't remember the former and the latter was uh... I believe it was the Super Mario Theme. Followed by Viva la Vida and a whole shitbucket of song bits and bobs.
I don't think I've ever learned a full song. I can play almost all of Fade to Black (Metallica) except a couple of phrases on the last solo.
Glycerine by Bush
The first song I played with my bassist friend (was also my first songs ever, that duo later became a metal band) was Breaking The Law by Judas Priest. It was simple enough. For Whom The Bell Tolls followed some time later which was my favourite song to play and sing with the band even after the beginning phase.
It all dried out though. But it was pretty fun while it lasted.
Roulette by System of a Down
including solo
still sounds quite shit though.
If you're happy and you know it clap your hands
why was i rated funny this was my first song i learned. either that or the alphabet.
hot cross bunz
