About 8-10 weeks ago, my art teacher woke my lazy ass up and told me to work something or she'll fail me. My friend Kyle and I had been sleeping most of the classes and I guess that wasn't going well with the teacher. She told us that if we wanted to pass, we'd have to start a project out of paper mache, since that was the current lesson plans if you had nothing to do. So thus started our long and tiresome project. We had decided on creating Meatwad from Aqua Teen Hunger Force out of paper mache. Upon completion, we realized that it turned out better than expected and many compliments were given to him. It was decided then, that this lovable character needed a friend. Weeks later and many strenuous hours given to the dedication of our next project, we were approaching our deadline, December 17th. This was the last day before Christmas Break. We knew we had to act fast as slapped on the last of the paint, touched up the face, and attached his arms. This came the creation of Master Shake. Let me introduce you to Meatwad... And his friend, Master Shake. And here's the duo together. I'm sure you're all wondering, what next? Surely you cannot have two of the three characters and call it completed. Well, during the development of Master Shake, I was deciding on what to do next. As much as I'd love to sleep in art class for the rest of the year, that just wouldn't fly. Many of my friends urged me to continue my work and create the third and final character in this trio. Unfortunately, Kyle and I have not yet decided to create Frylock. But, we did determine that if we were to make him, it would either be after Winter Break ends, or after Spring Break ends. So, Facepunch, tell me what you think? [editline]11th June 2011[/editline] My fellow Facepunchers, it has been a long time since I posted the status of Meatwad and Master Shake. Let me tell you, they've had a very boring life. I had promised them that their friend, Frylock, would be created after Spring Break. I am sad to say that this did not happen. My personality, which could only be compared to that of a sloth, kept me from motivating myself to do anything in my Art class. Needless-to-say, I slept all day. There my projects lay, in the corner of the room, awaiting the arrival of the last member of the trio. There they lay, awaiting the arrival of nobody. For that person would not show up until many months after the promised date. In the last days of May, my art teacher had awoken me from my slumber. She told me that I was required to enter something into the Art show. This had stumped me, I thought, "What do I possibly have that could be entered into the Art show, of all things". There I sat, dreading the thought of creating new pieces of work so I'd be able to get a grade. I frantically searched through my earlier drawings I had made and found nothing worthy. It was not until I stopped and looked around the room that an old promise had surfaced. There I saw my two lonely companions, Meatwad and Mastershake, staring at me, as they had for many months since I placed them there. Worn and missing an arm, I looked into Mastershake's disfigured eyes and found a new motivation. My art show project would be to finish the trio and enter them as a set. I showed my art teacher my idea, and she agreed that it would be an excellent choice and it would work for my grade. Immediately, I began work on Frylock. Little did I know then, the work that would be required to form, paper mache, prime, and paint in a little over one week. It would be a difficult task, one that I was much willing to accept. Skip ahead to the end of the week, I saw the Art show just over the horizon. Frylock's form was done, and the paper mache was drying, but I still had to prime and paint in two days. It would be a very complicated task. I called in two of my friends, one of them is Zernbrog, and the other shall be unnamed. Together, we managed to finish the project, in what felt like seconds to spare. With the time remaining, I pondered the finishing look of the trio and felt satisfyed. So without further ado, let me introduce you to The Aqua Teen Hunger Force! [sp]If you didn't notice, we won first place. papermache is awesome. Im making a mask from bioshock myself, probably gonna make a thread about it.
Yeah but it's a pain in the butt. I was having problems with the white paint on Master Shake cracking.
I love aqua teen. Meatwad looks great, not so sure about shake though.
Yeah, meatwad was easy. Shake gave us a lot of trouble. The reason why the lip on the lid looks all crooked is the way the paper mache dried. We tried out best not to get it to look like that, but in the end, it dried and expanded and it got all foldy. Also as said above, the paint kept cracking and causing trouble also. But I'd say for what we went through, he turned out not bad at all.
you could trim off the ends of the lid to make it smoother
It's not that. The lip became wavy, not crooked. It only looks crooked because of the picture, if I were to take a picture from the top looking down, you'd know what I mean.
Yeah, I remember them. I helped you out Zareox, but they did come out great didn't they. :downsbravo: You should show them Frylock, too.

Fucking. Awesome. I would buy them but i have no money.
Thank you, I don't do art very often but when I do, I take pride in my work.
Pretty lumpy, but faithful none the less! :)
Well I won't say it was easy to make. But I'm sure I could have done better if given more time.
