This weather is horrible. Sweating like an Irishman checking his potato field when I'm trying to sleep
Ah~ That time of year when many of us ignorant americans wonder "How the fuck are people dieing when it's only 90".
Note to Americans: 32C is about 90F.

You guys are shitting your pants over the equivalent of about 90 Fahrenheit?
Pretty much the entire USA south of the Mason-Dixon line is laughing at you.
Really was pretty hot out today. Thankfully we have some cloud cover around here to take the edge off.

Why post this
We don't often get temperatures past 25 degrees, so it is unusual for us.

You'll be laughing on the other side of your face if you have to experience a heat wave of your own. Or better, a cold snap. Everybody has differing levels of tolerance to extreme weather conditions, and what applies to one extreme sure as hell won't apply to another.
Meanwhile in Arizona it can hit triple digits during this month and in Florida it likes to stay 80-90F.
Comparing heat like this doesn't work very well because: The brits are PROPER PANSIES M8 or they're just not used to these temperatures in their region.
Y'goddamn brits. It's like 40 degrees out here in Argentina sometimes.

I wouldn't mind seeing posts like this go the way of speedtest posts. It's kind of the same idea

I'd like to see you deal with -10 to -20 in a light jacket.
Our bodies are designed for lower temperatures, like yours being designed for higher temperatures(and being a dick apparently).

Our heat waves get higher than 90F c:
And I go to school in the mountains, where it routinely gets into the -15 > -18F range during winter

Arizona is dry heat though, it was more comfortable there in 100+ heat than it is here in california at 80.

I spend a fair bit of time laughing at the US below that line too, so it's only fair I guess.

Explains why you were so shit on the Falklands then, was way too cold for you guys.
Hotdwellers, you do realise that you can't take somebody who lives in perpetual cold/cool areas and then suddenly stick them in the middle of an African heatwave is just going to be OK, do you?

Move to Oklahoma for a year. After that, no temperatures'll be unusual for you.
Fucking 10F in winter and 100F in the summer.
Thought interestingly, the time I went to Texas was during a cold spell, and it was balls cold.

That doesn't mean you can be snarky about others being unable to tolerate a temperature range you can deal with. I can walk barefoot in the midday sun at 40 C but I don't laugh at people who faint when it reaches 35 either.

Now jump in frozen lakes at those temperatures, for fun.

Guess you guys couldn't handle the cold of the Falklands then
Ahh, wonderful. My skin has the color and weakness of paper, so not being able to go outside without wearing all of the sunscreen in the world was bad enough. Now when I'm inside I'm going to be in a fucking oven. It's good to be British.

Its more to do with who our buildings are setup, we insulate the fuck out of everything and if there's 0 wind they can turn into right saunas, then you consider our average heat we're used to is much lower than this. You take something out of its usual pattern, it struggles to adapt. Heat does hell when it drastically changes.

Depends on the person.
I grew up in Buffalo, moved to Arizona in the middle of summer. I was fine, and grew into it. Likewise I then moved to North Dakota which has worse winters then Buffalo, still fine.
Anything above 80F is just eugh for me. Keep cool my British brothers.

Of course.
I'm just saying vulnerable people really do suffer. Kids trying to get easy zingers is simply getting boring in every thread.
