Now that's how you do product placement right :v:
That's one hell of a drop test.
i'm in disbelief that he actually pulled this off
That's one hell of a drop test.
I can confirm that HTC phones are strong as fuck. I've dropped mine face-down while running on tiles multiple times (it even skidded for a bit once) and the only damage it had was a millimeter-long chip on one of the corners.
just watched this with my little sister - we both thought it was a great experiment!
Best thing is with each one of these videos he does for a company the more likely it is other companies are gonna send him stuff to make awesome videos with.

I sure as hell enjoy em.
Colin Furze is one of those DIYers who has alot of charm to draw people into the craft. Hell of alot of fun to watch and pretty interesting builds.
This guy does some cool stuff, but he's rather annoying to listen to

HTC low-end is made of metal, HTC high-end is made of metal, but their midrange phone is a big flat piece of plastic. I put mine in my pocket, and leaning over a counter was enough to crack the screen horizontally. (It still survives every corner drop though) Now compare that with the abuse that my old HTC went through: [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/111996868/2014-2/general/phoneabuse.JPG[/t]
I dont know what people are doing with their smartphones. I never dropped it in the 2 years of usage, and even if it did, I put it into a rubbery hull for extra grip and protection.
can I ask, this might be a really dumb question with a really obvious answer, but how do they find the phone when it comes down to retrieve the footage?
