Hey art people.
I've recently been looking into getting a drawing/digital painting tablet. I've decided on wacom, but I'm unsure which version to choose. I'm kind of concerned about the small drawing dimensions for the bamboos and the small and medium versions of the intuos4, and the touch style ones are way out of my price range. I've been looking at the large version of the intuos4 since the drawing space is about close to the size of a normal piece of paper but it costs 469 dollars.
If you have a tablet, what is it/dimensions? And how would you describe being confined to a smaller space if you have a drawing tablet with a small drawing area?
Thanks.

This is the one I'm looking at right now
There's an entire thread devoted to this.
Bamboo is more than enough unless you're a professional. Tablet size is not THAT important. Sure bigger is better, but a smaller one works fine too. Intuos is better mainly because of tilt and more pressure, but other than that it's almost the same as bamboo.
Unless you're a rich professional, don't get the big one, you don't need it.
cintiq
Bamboo
Bamboo's are good quality economy tablets, you can't really go wrong with one.
The Intuos 4 tablets are for when you get serious. They are in my opinion, the best ones money can buy.
Also regarding tablet sizes, Small ones are better for smaller screens and are nice and zippy on larger ones. Keep that in mind.

Cintiq's to me are in a realm of their own they're that good.
Thing with them though, once you've tried them, you're ruined and cannot go back :v:
I personally use a Bambo it's great for someone who's just starting to draw alot and it's really good because it's pretty cheap, I got a med sized one for 80$ and it's great has pretty good sensitivity and ext I would recommend it to you.
