srsly curious about what's going on in this game's story. both persona 3 and 4 got crazy with how high the stakes were raised but in these last 2 trailers we've seen both a train derail in a subway station, and a tanker truck exploding.

I'm still confused about the enemies we fight. Are we fighting demons? I see some shadows but the Shadow transformed into Norn which is demon/persona.
Persona/SMT are my favourite games ever, and this trailer made me very visibly excited.

Nah, that sounded like Jun Fukuyama, the Protagonist's voice actor. That was probably his Persona talking.
I hope the PS3 version isn't too downgraded. I don't want to get a PS4 just for this game.

Nah that was his persona talking, since it did that "thou art I, and I am thou" line, which I remember from the P4 anime. I don't think any information about Igor's new VA has been released... if they ever did find a replacement.

It's not Gamebryo it's their own in-house engine. Catherine ran on Gamebryo but they changed it for P5.

The engine is an in house one
the aesthetic is similar because atlus generally likes to reuse assets as much as they can so they probably thought it'd be easier to just configure the catherine artstyle for Persona since they know it works
