Grand Theft Auto V to release on November 14th (PS4/Xbox One/PC) according to UK online listing

I made a thread with the same title several weeks ago but it's starting to add up. According to Take 2's UK distributor, it is coming out November 14th (a Friday, which would make sense given they have the luxury of releasing on a Friday in the United States and it'd be three days after AC:Unity releases).

Until today, it was being listed as "coming soon" but it changed to November 14th, which makes sense since even the voice actors are sticking to "this fall" after rumors of delays. Sony is sticking to it as well.
It also adds up with this.

There was a rumour going around that GTA Online was going to be cancelled for the PC version, and maybe the PC version altogether. Thankfully it's been pretty much disproved, but not before I had a heart attack and an aneurysm at the same time.
Just in time for the christmas rush. I'm betting it will be fairly accurate.

pretty sure that was /v/ fucking with people
Fuck yes finally I can play this game without everything being muddy as fuck
i wish rockstar would come out with an official release date instead of leaving it to people to speculate on
Apparently gta iv was released on 3 Dec 2008 for pc so this might be true considering the game has been in development since 2012.
Wonder if after adding cats and hammerhead sharks and whatnot they'll remember to fix the damn floating towel behind one of the houses in Vinewood Hills
Will it come to the PS3 and Xbox 360 though?
Can't come soon enough, been waiting a solid year for a PC release already.
If true, then November is going to be one hell of a painful month for my wallet.
GTA Online is gonna be a horrid mess when it comes to PC. It's bad enough at the moment with all the glitches and exploits on console and it's just gonna get worse when theres tons of mod's and hacks available after PC release. I'm betting it'll be similiar to how GTA4 multiplayer turned out with the use of "Simple Native Trainer" with tons of people running around in god mode spamming objects and spawning weapons/cars. Not to necessarily say that it's a bad thing... some people just want to go on in a sandbox environment and play and have access to everything but for those who want to play it as Rockstar intends with the whole character progression system it's gonna be an ugly mess.

Yeah except GTA IV's multiplayer segregated people playing games with mods from those who were playing a straight vanilla game.
GTA Online, however, is likely not going to do this. R* will have a way to deal with it eventually, if they haven't already.
If they are releasing in November, we should have a new trailer within the next few weeks.
I'm expecting a trailer/date on September 9th (release of GTA V on PS3/360)

September 9th? It was released on September 17th (and 19 in some countries).

Oh shit my bad Destiny is making me think September 9th for some reason.
Trust something out of a BIG W magazine lmao

Good for me that I previously preordered the game on Amazon. Which is good, I guess?
Yeah, maybe we should really know a precise release date instead of R* letting us speculate shit. Though GTA V is a real good game as I heard.
As long as the game runs at 60 fps on PS4, I'll be happy.
this dude
Anyone waiting for PC, Xbox One, PS4 releasedate?
Write November 14th in your fucking calendar.
(note that he wrote this 2 weeks ago)

It won't.

So whatever. There are many solutions. I see a server browser with some godmode sandbox servers, some RP servers, some vanilla servers, private servers (which I can't see because they're private), mod enabled servers and Atlantis servers. Servers as far as the eye can see!
It won't.
I don't see why not. It's a last gen game remastered for current gen. Every game that's done that so far has been 60 fps.
I can't believe they would try to cancel GTAV on PC like that.
Imagine all of the console kiddies making fun of us PC gamers if it happened. Oh well, at least we still have MGS5.

I highly doubt Rockstar will officially support that. There most likely also won't be any dedicated servers for players to host either. Everything will be controlled from Rockstars side to prevent any dodgy servers from giving players extra money for missions etc since Rockstar wish that players buy their cash cards or earn by playing online under their rules. Theres also that ingame stock market thing that they wanted to implement to multiplayer but never got to either which they would probably want to keep under control as much as possible. Not sure if there will even be a server browser either but if it does it'll probably be through some kind of Social Club GUI.
Only soultion I can to having the whole different types of game modes / servers etc would be the development of a third party modification such as an equivalent to Citizen IV / SA-MP which will probably also take quite a long while after release to be at a stable level after the games initial release.

Because the PS4'S hardware isn't powerful enough to handle everything going on in GTA V at 60 fps. There's too much going on in that game.

Officially, no way. But like you said, the most likely scenario is a third-party mod that emulates the GTAO master server and adds in a browser GUI. Citizen IV and IV:MP have been in development a long time, modders finally understand how the servers work now, and the V networking code is pretty similar. People have already jailbroken their consoles and created unlisted servers with perma-snow, godmode and North Yankton. There's a list of IPs on se7ensins that you can connect to if your console is unlocked.
because the last gen one ran sub 20 fps commonly and also they're adding shit to the current gen one to bring it up to today's standards
GTA V rarely dropped below 30FPS on the Xbox 360, can't speak for ps3.

Are you on another planet? It dropped below 30 all the bloody time.
