what the fuck guy, this article is sad as shit.
*braces for inevitable gun control debate we've been having since Newtown* An unfounded tragedy because some parents weren't quite clever enough to keep their gun out of the reach of their child without their supervision.
What's up with these four year old's killing people, and how in the hell did a four year old just stumble into the house, grab a .22, waddle back out and shoot his playmate on the way?
Gun safety is generally taught to all students in high school. Its a shame that it isn't really taught outside of that.
Gun safety is generally taught to all students in high school. Its a shame that it isn't really taught outside of that.
Not true, at least in California. When I was in high school not a word was spoken about it, unless they added it in the two years since I have graduated.
I think at this point it's quite clear that we can't rely on people not being so stupid.
I feel like schools should have a generic "How not to be a complete fucktard" course. Make it mandatory.

Ironically, we eat it up too.

Probably went something like, he found it, thought it looked cool/guns from da tv!!, went to show his friend, ended in tragedy :(
Snip.

A gun safe isn't that hard, people. For fucks sake you could even just keep them in a locked room in a locked closet at the very least, god damn. No wonder people try to push so much gun control shit when all of this happens.
Gun safety is generally taught to all students in high school. Its a shame that it isn't really taught outside of that.
i think the only respectable solution is to give all children firearms so this tragedy will never occur again
I've noticed a trend in today's articles - Kids getting their hands on guns and shooting someone. Good lord.
How does this keep happening? I'm starting to think people are handing these kids guns, and running the hell away.
Now if only congress looked into the parenting issue.
all these articles about little kids using guns they found in their house really make me question if the parents care at all about their childrens safety, or anyone elses at that. at least try to get a safe with a lock on it, or find a secret spot to place it. its as if the parents just place it on the living room coffee table and expect nothing to happen.
because children learn at a very young age that people with guns are cool due the media and due to the overarching gun culture in the united states
yea finnish babies would never try and grab a gun that was carelessly placed within' their reach.
Gun safety is generally taught to all students in high school. Its a shame that it isn't really taught outside of that.
I wish more schools would teach gun safety. Not a school I've been to has even TOUCHED the issue. Not once. Being a Junior and have gone to two different high schools, this raises alarm for me.
???
provide an actual example of an event such as this actually occurring please??? [editline]9th April 2013[/editline] i can wait if it takes some searching
provide an actual example of an event such as this actually occurring please???
i don't speak finnish? are you arguing that a 4 year old's likeliness to grab an accessible weapon and possibly shoot something or someone is primarily dependent on nationality?
Don't guns have a safety lock you have to turn off to fire? So was it left with the lock off? I wouldn't think a 4 year old would figure it out that easy? (I know nothing about guns I may be completely wrong)
i don't speak finnish? are you arguing that a 4 year old's likeliness to grab an accessible weapon and possibly shoot something or someone is primarily dependent on nationality?
i said absolutely no such thing you just said that it's just as likely to happen in finland and i'm waiting for verification on that claim [editline]9th April 2013[/editline] unless of course you're talking out your ass?
