• Software to slow down MP3s?

Is there any free software out there that will let me change the tempo of an MP3 I have without changing the pitch? sort of needs to be free software, I don't want to pay anything. Also if this should have been in fast threads then I'm sorry, I wasn't sure. Just move it. Thanks.
You MIGHT be able to do it using Reaper. However I can't remember because I haven't used it in ages.
audacity
^ Audacity is the way to go, you can change the tempo without affecting pitch.
I was going to say Traktor, but you said free. Audacity, as Re-Con said. Though the MP3 encoder can be a total pain in the ass.
I've seen something like that on sourceforge a while ago, let's see if I can find it again.. found it: http://sourceforge.net/projects/bestpractice/ I haven't tried it though, so I can't say how good it is...
Audacity rate me late.

Just search for "lame_enc.dll" and place it in the Audacity folder. How is that hard? Unless you're talking about a problem I don't know about.
Keep ur microphone close to the speker , record wit windows media redcorder than slow down
Wouldn't you just get a bunch of feedback sound?
Keep ur microphone close to the speker , record wit windows media redcorder than slow down
Why in the world would you do that
I'm trying to slow down Mp3s so that I can play along with them, not slow down my recordings.

Creative audio player has that and it works great.
I hear audacity is good, but if you want something better quality and proffesional try out Adobe Soundbooth. Hit me up for more info.
