I know you guys will probably hate it, I don't mind, don't really want criticism, it was something me and me did ages ago when we were both huge fans of HL and made maps for it together, we decided to do some crappy editing video thing, enjoy, don't enjoy it's just some edit thing I have from ages ago(my dad's youtube account and me being the young kid in the video... now 20 :3 birthday today woop) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yujaSnfQhxs [editline]1st February 2013[/editline] Just an old nostalgia moment from me and my dad... it's still amazing that he's 42 and still loves to play online on games with me :3
Was it by any chance that your dad got into half life before you did? Video wasn't that bad to be honest, better than what kids are filming these days for youtube.

Happy birthday man! Oh wow, you know i never realized how old HL2 really was until i saw you as kid there on that video... i mean i am 21 right now and just slightly 2 years older than you. Cool video man, and cool dad you have!

I wish other people on here have a dad like that or a family member, my dad started it all for me, I wouldn't be here... but my uncle even played games, back when KingPin was popular online... me my dad and uncle use to play online, making skins was so new to us, uncle made a star trek skin.. we all copied it and felt so awesome like we were the best haha, those were the days :3.
I wish my dad would play online games with me, that would be rad.
I genuinly think he will play games till well he dies really.(sounds harsh but I think he will)
My Dad was the one who introduced me to Half-Life, and I couldn't thank him enough.
It's been a while since i've been on this website but i am soulreapers dad/father & thanks for all the friendly ratings. It was just a lark testing green screen on adobe premier.
Damn son, he clicked you good.
Wish my dad would play games with me, he somewhat use to when the playstation 2 first came out but now I'm older and he is more "anti-video game" like.
My dad is similar, he got me into gaming from like age 2. I had no idea what I was doing at age 2, but goddamned did I love beating him at tekken tag. :C Shit I have so many early childhood memories right now, thinking of games like Tekken , halflife, ect.... He still plays videogames and shit, and sometimes we play together (torchlight, l4d, l4d2, tf2, dead island, dungeon defenders, ect)

Me and my dad have Counter-Strike 1v1's every now and then, he's the one that taught me everything I know about the game so it's really cool.
My dad just gets fucking motion sickness whenever he plays games. His girlfriend however is pretty cool, she plays Skyrim and AC and shit.
Since everyone is talking about their nostalgic times involved with one of their parents playing video games, I'm just going to join in the discussion. I remember when I was about 3 or 4, I would watch my dad play UT99 against a bunch of bots on is Mac. Sometimes, he would play on some custom maps, like that massive Livingroom map (which actually looked pretty decent from what I can remember). 10 years or so later, I was able to get into playing UT99, and it was pretty damn fun. Usually, he would play the game in a dark room with the screen being the only illuminating the room. He also played Future Cop, Tomb Raider II (Although he seemed to have only played the tutorial level and the first actual level. I guess he only had the demo) and Myst, from what I can remember. It's a shame that our copy of UT99 doesn't work on my dad's computer, anymore, as it's not compatible with the newer version of the OS on his Mac.
Your house has a really fucking weird layout, its like every room it on a different level
I play 1.6 with my dad every week it's pretty sick
Your house has a really fucking weird layout, its like every room it on a different level
Haha yeah it is weird but it use to be a flat, now it's just a house, so 3 story house, pretty awesome though.
My dad was poor so he never had videogames, but he likes playing Pro evolution soccer with me :v:
My dad played Wolfenstein 3D one day and I was like "what's that" and he's like "It's a game, you wanna play?" and then here I am.
I'm old

I doubt my dad knows how to turn on his own porn. I wish my dad was more into technology.
I used to play games with my uncle. I don't have a father but, I played GTA:San Andreas with my uncle when i was like 7 And now i just seem to piss him off whenever i get near him. I miss those times.
My dad plays Planetside 2 with me. We used to all play Unreal Tournament '99, Duke Nukem 3D, Half-Life Deathmatch and Quake together. Our house was on a token ring network back then :V
Well atleast the gun bobs. I've seen a lot of videos where the gun doesn't even move. Congrats on not being like the rest of them. Just hope you got a fuckload better since then.

My dad got me the Half-Life 1 Anthology for Christmas awhile ago. We used to play a lot of CoD4 together but his PC sucks and he's always busy.
My dad introduced me to games through doom 95. He only plays wow now so his true gaming days are over
