My wife loves that show and I can't fucking understand why. Now maybe she'll resort to proper television shows. "Reality" TV is bullshit and I hope they're all cancelled soon so we can get back to awesome sitcoms.
I had no idea that this show actually existed.
There was a miniseries on British TV called "Dead Set", and it took place in Big Brother, although these may be two different things.

If they went back to putting normal people into the house and stopped with the thousands of tasks etc I might actually watch it. Seeing normal people interact with each other is what made this show so popular in the first place not some attention whores showing off to each other and some cameras.

I don't see the difference. I watched the 2nd Big Brother off and on, and any episodes I've seen due to my wife's obsession lately seem all the same to me.
The show sucks.
Big Brother can be replicated by tapping into the CCTV of your local mental hospital or asylum.
