Well I bought the v for vendetta graphic novel today. I just finished book one and it's pretty good. So far I like the use of the letter v. It's a good theme, and is similar to the other use of themes in alans moores other book the watchmen. This is my second alan Moore book I have and I am enjoying it, I love the imagination In the setting. Although. I think that v is eveys dad. The math works out. 1993 evey was twelve and she loses her dad. 1993 the tests are done and v escapes from larkhill. Discuss.
Dmitriy Arkadeyevich Popov is one badass terrorist
okay
I still don't get why Alan Moore distanced himself from the film... I thought it was a pretty good adaptation.
Who directs the film?
Wachoswki Brothers. You know, Matrix. The underlying ideas of anarchy, and the whole plot with a post-nuclear Britain under the rule of a right-wing government had been swapped for some Bush-era analogy.

Hasn't Alan Moore distanced himself from all movies based on his work actually?
Wachoswki Brothers. You know, Matrix. [editline]02:34AM[/editline]
They produced it. James McTeigue directed it. The film and books are great in their own respects. Considering the sheer amount of story that needed to be covered, I thought their adaptation was great. They kept the majority of the pivotal points of the story without butchering it and making it a great story in it's own right.
