He said several GOP lawmakers who are doctors got off the train to assist, including Rep. Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio, who was also at last June’s shooting of Republicans at a baseball practice in nearby Alexandria, Virginia, and treated some of the victims. Other doctor-lawmakers who helped included Reps. Michael Burgess, of Texas, Phil Roe of Tennessee, Larry Bucshon of Indiana, Roger Marshall of Kansas and Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La. Cassidy later tweeted that there were three people on the truck and “one is dead.” House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., was on the train and was unhurt, aides said. That sucks. Never liked going over train tracks, especially in traffic when I sometimes see people get stuck on the tracks with cars in front and behind. Even with seemingly no train coming, that's an incredibly dangerous thing to do since the the train will always win.

Rather be the asshole holding up traffic for an extra 5 seconds than be smashed by 10.000 tons of train.

maybe they'll get serious about infastructure funding, because crossing signals are still quite lacking in rural areas and thats part of infastructure

Which story is being taken out of context to spawn this "antifa derails trains" narrative? Usually these people twist the truth beyond belief, but it's not super often that they pull something flat out of the air.
