Remember playing this mod endlessly too way back when L4Y was still up with tons of Max Payne 2 mods available. This was supposed to have a huge update that added more fancy shoot dodges and moves and even katanas but sadly the creator just stopped working on it without warning. I thought he was riding a skateboard in the video thumbnail and now I'm disappointed.

This made me want to reinstall Max Payne 2 and this mod but then I remembered all I have is a physical copy and I can't find it :saddowns:

I'd love to replay MP1 and 2 again at some point but I think both games are broken on Windows 10.

Also about this mod, it kinda looks cool from videos but it's actually kind of a nightmare to play, there's way too many random effects and screen shake all over the place that it's just gonna give you a headache after like 5 minutes.

I played the shit out of this back in the day. My computer was pretty shit back then, so it crashed a lot, but I just kept booting it back up over and over.

Now I want a whole game like this

I remember installing various MP2 mods a few years back, and I honestly disliked most of them, this one possibly included. I felt like they tried a little too hard to be "stylish", usually by throwing in absurd amounts of screen shake, filters, poorly mixed gun sounds, and unfitting music. Payne Effects was the big offender, though this doesn't look nearly as bad.

The backflip kind of looks cool, but you can't see shit when you do it. It also looks dumb as fuck when he turns around to do a backflip because you're trying to dive in the direction you're facing. It doesn't look like a bad mod but it does look like it's trying too hard.
