Kind of obvious since that what they did last time.

That's what everyone thought during Left 4 Dead's development.
20 rupees says Gamespot still hasn't patched the bug on their website where demo codes were given free and by the time I pre-order, they're out of codes.
Ah, I pre-order on steam anyways. Can't wait.
amazing fucking deal
not
Sorry Valve, not this time. Going to actually wait it out until I've seen solid reviews and comparisons.
Do want.
I paid £35 for L4D Preorder because I expected gewd Valve support and further content.
Why should I do the same again less than a year later?
lol I hope this game fail's !
fuck this, i want the demo so i can tell if the game is worth buying (if they actually fixed all the horrible issues that plagued l4d1).
not gonna commit to buying this until i can see that the game is a step up from the original.
I buy all Valve games regardless of the reviews. In my opinion, most of their games were pretty good.
If L4D2 is an improved L4D, I see no reason not to buy it.

whaaaaat.

Why would you need steam support?
The did give you more content you stupid fuck, and they're still delivering more.
the whole point of a demo is to let us judge a game before we buy it... giving us a demo as a bonus for buying the game is kind of a silly idea.

Compare what CSS and TF2 got to L4D.
Big difference, even HL2DM got more than L4D has, and you're saying that its allright to release a full priced game less than a year later rather than the content?
I bet you loved horse armour.

AGREE with you
I am pissed that people are Pre Order it look's like shit but people will buy it because it's VAVLe who got the logo on this game !
Sounds somewhat familiar :v:
I will just wait.I am still hurt from not showing Episode 3 tho.
As much as I want L4D2 anyway, I'd like to play the demo first, more than I did with the original game.
L4D1's demo was just a way to play a new game early, and kill some zombies. L4D2's will just determine how soon after the release I will buy it.

Wow you're really dumb. HL2DM only has 7 levels, while Left4dead1 has 42.
Left4dead2 has more content than L4D1, it has:
5 campaigns, all ready for versus survival and a new gamemode
10 melee weapons, two new types of pistols, a new shotgun, a new uzi, a new rifle, sniper, a autoshotgun
New throwable grendate
New characters
Changed gameplay
Incendiary ammo
and the list goes on.
Haha can't wait to "Preorder" from gamespot again.
^ Damn i was gonna say the exact same
Valve: "Pre-order the game so that you can get the demo to see if you like the game, after having bought it, for the lulz"

So you basically compare the content released in a full game against a free deathmatch add on?
HL2DM had more content AFTER launch than L4D got, which is what I was getting at.
L4D got recycled ingame levels and a single new one, HL2DM got completely new maps and even three weapons added. CSS got new maps also as well as several new player models and graphics updates.
You're saying that because I expected L4D would get supported, I should immediately go out and buy this full game just because it has a list of stuff which mainly doesn't make much difference?

you forgot the full blown Half Life 2 Campian which is much more that L4D and yes the DM is better than that
What. L4D got 12 levels after launch, HL2DM has a total amount of levels of 7.
The levels in L4D are not recycled, some of the models are recycled from HL2, but why reinvent the wheel? CSS has gotten no player model updates/graphical updates.
L4D has always been supported and more DLC has been announced for the future.

you still forgot HAL LIFE 2 ! ( Story Mod )
which L4d is worthless compare to Half Life
We were never talking of HL2, you were falsely comparing the number of DLC maps of L4D to HL2DM. You can't change your foundation argument to better suit you.
l4d is worthless compare to Half Life
At least try to spell, and that is not a valid argument. :downs:
