So I was stuck at college over Thanksgiving break and I decided to devote all my time to creating a video project for my Elements of Visual Thinking final. Usually when I make these videos, I tend to grab a bunch of different footage I've gathered and edit mostly through improvisation. This time, I actually pulled together an idea halfway through the making and it turned out pretty good!
So, this is the result of a lonely Thanksgiving that was boring, depressing, and slightly schizophrenic. And that's where experimental comes in! I like to do weird shit with my videos, so you should watch it. Maybe shouldn't watch it high, though. Anyways!
I call the film, Change! It's 12 minutes long and since it's over 10 minutes, split into 2 parts on YouTube. Watch them both and please leave feedback!

I turned it off after 1 minute

I watched to 3:30, but it was incredibly boring. Everything just took so long for anything to happen. The beginning shot was extremely awkward, as were almost all others
I watched it till the end.
I like the part in black and white with that masked man following the other guy. However, I am unable to tell what actually happened during this part. Why does he follow him? And I do not like the fact that the movie ends on the climax. Furthermore, I do not see a connection between the short scenes in the beginning and the scenes in black and white.
The scene with the TV is good: a nice metaphor for change not making a difference.
In my opinion the compositions of the black and white shots are pretty good and interesting.
