I've watched all of them. The laser disk was awesome
Oh hey, it's pentium.
the laser disk was indeed very interesting. I actually had an encounter with a mass media storage method that looked very similar to a laser disk, but was used to store large amounts of dvds on a single huge disk. I believe that one of those large disks could store approximately 50 dvds.
You've gotta love James Rolfe. The man knows stuff.

Agree. He nearly made me want one.
that Laser Disk was like :wtc:
I hate watching videos of people on the internet. But when it comes to James Rolfe, man he makes me laugh.
My dad had a laser disk player with all the best movies a few years ago
link broken?? cant seem to find the page..
His site seem to bown down
I have a laser disc player with plenty of movies. :3:
Links aren't working.
Fix the links I want to see
The site is down guys, relax. If you went to the cinemassacre website you'd see it's not working either.
I bet pentium has multiples of all of these formats+players
Betamax fuck yeah

The original Bluray
My first steps were recorded on a betamax tape and we don't have the player any more so we can't watch them :frown:
I remember laser disk. I think we still have a few of the movies. I remember we had Mission Impossible 1 or 2, Toy Story, and Men in Black.
The original DiVx player was pretty hilarious.
30 dollars for a disc that erased itself in two days.
Maybe they had a power outage because the Cinemassacre server is hosted at James' house, if I recall correctly.

I live in Western New York and we're fine.
Link's are broken.
They're fine now.
and now its back down again.
nope that just came back.
I laughed at the laser disk.
I didn't heard him that the first slot was for the CDs, so i was like "Well this ain't so huge, in fact its like CDs"
Then he go "THIS is the laser disk" and show the huge slot that is like 40cm long.
I was like "Ow damn"
Never heard of a laser disk, they look awesome.
The CED baffles me
I love the CEDs concept for the removable case, I think that console games would be kind of cool because it would protect the discs and you could easily add and remove discs.
