The ones here in America. Jesus christ they are retarded. Typical format:
"(x) is bad because (y) and s/he also did (z) and (w)! Vote for me instead!"
All they do is insult their opponent(s) and then tell the viewers to vote for them. They don't even explain what the hell they're going to do that's better than the opponent.
For example, anyone in Arizona seen that recent one by that Quayle guy?; "Barack Obama is the worst president in history." Well, no shit skippy, that's been blindly obvious since the day he was inaugurated; but you could at least explain what you're going to do to fix it instead of shitting all over him.
Discuss.
tl;dr Political competitions are retarded

It's america
america is dumb, why was I born here
People will do anything to get votes.
Big whoop.
Welcome to America.
It was particularly bad a few weeks ago here in Kansas. "I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE I GREW UP HERE ON THE FARM I HAVE FAMILY VALUES THAT OTHER GUY IS A DICK AND KILLS BABIES VOTE FOR ME I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE~~~"
The only commercial I saw that I really enjoyed had this formula. "Hello my name is X, I support Y and Z and I plan to enact laws that will allow for A and B, as well as C. Thank you for your time."
I had never heard of the guy, in fact I can't even remember the name now because I only saw the commercial once (probably not rolling in campaign money seeing as how he acts like a normal person and not a politician)
Commercials cost money which political people have to spend or else it seems like they don't care about winning.
People want politics to be like a football game. When people start to talk about the real things people go BORING and change the channel.
